We are very excited to announce that Caroline Cecil will be the textile keynote speaker at this year's West Hollywood Designer Camp. A hands-on, creative day camp for students (11 -17), Designer Camp aims to support kids who are passionate about interior design, fashion, photography, styling, trend forecasting, entertainment set design, merchandising and more. We are honored to participate in this event that celebrates the West Hollywood Design District community. Current and past partners include the Pacific Design Center, Restoration Hardware, and Thomas Lavin Showroom.
To give you a better sense for how awesome the Designer Camp is, checkout the below images of last year's program.
During her presentation, Caroline will explain her path through the design industry, and introduce students to the world of color, pattern, and trend forecasting. Her talk will be followed by a hands-on block print and stencil workshop so that students can experiment with creating their own printed fabric swatch.
We are super excited to meet the Designer Camp students, and walk them through the textile workshop we designed just for them. Check back to see our recap on the event, and stay tuned via our Instagram @CCTEXTILES.
