Lately, I've been reflecting on how we as artists play a part in encouraging forward momentum and shaping the future. One of the things I’m most grateful for is my ability to uncover inspiration in unusual places or during challenging times. It’s at the heart of all of our textile and wallpaper collections and is what I get asked most about when talking about my creative process. Today I'm sharing my current muse: a fashion-meets-nature mood board combining my own landscape photography of the Sonoran Desert and street style looks from the Spring 2020 Fashion Weeks. Enjoy and feel free to re-share!
Here's the theme encapsulated into a single, pinnable image:
At Caroline Cecil Textiles, we believe in a careful blend of the artisanal and the modern, the timeless and the fashionable – that the most stylish homes embrace the personality and little imperfections of hand-made designs. Each of our collections begins as my original artwork, and is translated into beautiful, one-of-a-kind designs for the home.
