Winter in Paris - arguably the most magical time to visit. The city is quiet, grey, and the gardens are resting for the winter preparing to blossom in the spring. A slight wind whispers through the stone and brick buildings. Parisians walk briskly about, bearing shopping bags with holiday gifts. Well-lit stores along Rue Saint-Honoré are bustling, beckoning passers by with beautiful holiday window installations. Cafés and hotels take on a new feeling of welcome at the end of a day, abundant with hot chocolate, hot chaud, and champagne.
