CARE + QUALITY

We’re meticulous in choosing our materials, collaborative partners, and production processes so all our collections are of the highest quality.

Keep reading for more details plus tips on keeping everything looking its best.

GOING NATURAL

Because we care about the health of our planet and homes, we use eco-friendly materials and techniques. Every aspect of textile production, from the heritage fabrics we use to our hand-printing process, is 100% free of lead, phthalates, petroleum-based fertilizers, pesticides, and synthetic products.

The same goes for our wallpapers. The paper we print on is FSC® Certified (the Forest Stewardship Council promotes conservation of forests, protection of biodiversity, and social responsibility). There are no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the inks that we use, and we comply with California’s proposition 65 – the strictest standard for healthy consumer products.

CARING FOR OUR FABRICS

Our fabrics are made from natural fibers and printed by hand in small batches. Spot clean using a water-based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner, or dry clean.

FABRIC FINISHING

Should your project require additional finishing, we would be happy to refer our preferred finisher or ship to the finisher of your choice.

CARING FOR OUR WALLPAPERS

Smudges can be removed with a mild solution of soap and warm water. Before cleaning, test your soap and water mixture in an inconspicuous area of the wallcovering first to be safe. And stay away from steel wool or abrasives, synthetic sponges, solvents, alcohol, and pine oil as they can damage the surface of the wallcovering.

INSTALLING OUR WALLPAPERS

For the best possible results, professional installation is recommended. Walls should be smooth, clean, and dry before application, and if they’re uneven or textured, use a wallpaper liner. Your professional installer will be able to advise on whether liner is needed and which adhesive is the best. And because our wallpapers are class A-rated for commercial durability, they are safe to use in well-ventilated bathrooms.
